Kim Vasquez - Gray Lady EntertainmentKim Vasquez created and founded the theatrical producing and consulting company Gray Lady Entertainment in 2002. As Executive Artistic Producer of Gray Lady, Vasquez has nourished the development of new musicals and dramatic theatre in commercial and non-profit settings. She’s provided the highest quality of theatre in New York City, Los Angeles, Minneapolis and Massachusetts.

Kim has produced many multi-award winning musicals with the New York Theatre Festival (NYMF) where she’s also a Founding Producer and was a producer on Broadway’s Godspell 2012. On Nantucket, she’s produced: Faraway Land, Fools and Lovers, Mine Eyes Have Seen the Glory starring Broadway’s Andre de Shields with Theatre Workshop of Nantucket and she directed the nation’s first-female production of Fully Committed at TWN starring Amy Stiller.

In Los Angeles, Kim worked on Comedy Central’s “The Burn with Jeff Ross”, as well as, two horror films, “Phase One” and “Tape 49” both written by up and coming horror film writer, Simon Barrett produced by Snoot Productions. Having completed her short comedy “Toots”, she’s currently working a full-length play Bananas Journey.

Kim VasquezAs an Actor, Kim’s performed in many stage productions, including most recently, Arthur Kopit’s Chamber Music playing “Woman with Notebook” (Gertrude Stein). Her film/television credits include, “Out of the Clear Blue Sky – The untold story of Cantor Fitzgerald”, “As The World Turns”, “New York Undercover” (which she loves watching the re-runs now to see if she can find herself. She appeared in five episodes) and most recently “30 Rock”.

In her new ventures as a “free spirit”, Kim has always imagined herself traveling across the United States creating new challenges and opportunities for herself. Her imagination had once again turned into reality. After driving across country alone in her new Prius, she’s returned to the beautiful Nantucket Island where she’s currently coaching voice, speech and acting workshops for actors.

Cantor Fitzgerald Out of the Clear Blue Sky

Kim is a graduate from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Acting. She is also a graduate from The National Shakespeare Conservatory, The Stella Adler Conservatory of Acting and The Commercial Theatre Institute, all in New York City.

She has worked on Broadway as a General Management Associate for The Producing Office which produced In The Heights, Ragtime, Irving Berlin’s White Christmas, Avenue Q and Rent to name a few.
